The audience for this course is any professional in the healthcare field who deals with Spanish-speaking individuals in the workplace.  It is a course designed for those who know little or no Spanish, or for those who want to become more proficient in Spanish healthcare terminology.

One may take this course in the privacy of their home or at work.  You will need the following:  Computer with internet access, have and be able to use at least Microsoft Word '98, and comfortable navigating the Web and email usage.

Because of the growing number of Spanish-speaking individuals living in the state of Tennessee, there is need for workers in the health care field who are proficient in basic Spanish healthcare terminology. This continuing nursing education activity is approved by the Tennessee Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
