Dr. Marilyn Whitley is retired from Metro-Nashville Public Schools after teaching many different subjects and many different age groups.  She has supervised student teachers and taught Education classes for Middle TN State University as well as served as classroom supervisor of student teachers in her classrooms in Metro Schools.  She has taught Psychology classes for Martin Methodist College.  As a Secondary Reading Specialist with a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, she taught at TN State University for nine years in the Department of Advisement, Orientation and Enrichment.  She is a native of LA and mother and grandmother who earned her graduate degrees while working with a family.
