Supervisory Areas & Career Experience: 

I currently serve as Volunteer State's Director of Distance Learning and direct our videotape telecourse,  On-line, and Interactive TV instructional program.  This Distance Learning program has grown tremendously over the last 15 years to one of the largest and most recognized in the state and region.  I also teach for the TBR Regents Online Degree Program and serve as a faculty mentor in that program.

Additionally I am a certified online instructor trainer.

My teaching responsibilities include the following courses:
COM 100 - Fundamentals of Speech Communication (traditional and online delivery)
COM 112 - Beginning TV Production
COM 110 - Survey of Mass Communication

I am also involved in commercial broadcasting with ownership interests in two stations.  I've worked in radio and television facilities for over 30 years in virtually every role from announcing to programming, news, sports, sales, and management.  I've supervised construction of 3 new stations in my career.  And I've worked in Indiana, Texas, and Tennessee.
